God is for you!

Hello People of the Rock, I was very encouraged by Psalm 56 today where it says "This I know: God is for me." what an encouragement, despite my circumstances God is for me. I hope we're all resting in the truth that God is for us, He loves us, & is there when we pray & cry out to Him. I shared a little more about how it struck me on facebook you're welcome to watch here (no need for a Facebook account). Hopefully, you saw Colleen's email earlier today about the app we'll be using for Prayer & Praises called Slack. We have been using it for some time for other church business & it's been really helpful. I'm excited to use it to pray together. Coulee Rock is a church of prayer, filled with men

Pastor Update during Coronavirus

Dear Friends at Coulee Rock, We hope that you are staying encouraged in our Lord Jesus whatever are your current circumstances. It is difficult without the Holy Spirit’s help but we do have the Spirit residing within us. We and everyone in the world are presently experiencing change and uncertainty about the future that is unprecedented in our lifetimes. I had a Skype call to several men in Germany this morning and they are working from home and required to not go out except to shop for food. Churches are forbidden to gather by law. This Sunday, March 22nd we will not be meeting for a service. One of the great blessings of the church is the support and encouragement of fellow members. That i

Jesus is still King: Coronavirus & Coulee Rock

Dear Coulee Rock Saints, This week the Coronavirus (COVID-19) has dominated the news. The Coronavirus has been classified as a pandemic. Major sporting events have been canceled. The stock market has dropped dramatically. Stores even seem to be low or out of supplies like toilet paper. We wanted to assure you we have been closely tracking the news of the Coronavirus both locally and globally for several weeks. For many, the spread of this virus has caused fear and anxiety. Scripture is clear that God has given us a spirit of love, not fear (2 Timothy 1:7). Our prayer is that we would sense peace in the midst of these circumstances. This does not mean we should be careless or reactionary; rat

Dominican Republic Mission Trip

Dear Coulee Rocker, I along with the CR Short Term Missions Team just returned last Saturday after an action-packed week in the Dominican Republic. It was an incredible experience and we would like to share this with you this Sunday, March 8th, 2020. Our eyes were opened to the needs of the world for love and the gospel message. We hope to open your eyes as well by using Sunday’s service to share our experiences. There will be pictures and testimonies of the work and service we did in coming along side our sister church in Santo Dominigo, a city of 4 million people. We hope you can be there as we give an international flavor to this Sunday’s service at 10 am. Remember:***** Time Change Sunda

2 Thessalonians

Good Day Friends! I hope you have had a great week week with Jesus, your family, friends, and coworkers! I know many of us were able to gather at our annual CR Children's Museum Pizza and Fun night! IT was awesome to see so many folks attend but even more-so all the neighbors and friends that came because of your invites. Great job Coulee Rock at extending the love of Jesus and our CR community to those around us! I also wanted to encourage you to join us tomorrow for a time of fellowship, worship, and teaching from God's Word. Also please remember to bring your BirthRight Baby bottles back as well. Have a great Saturday! - Lance
