Beginnings: Isaac // God's Blessing

Greetings,
I meditated on the wonderful truths in Psalm 100 this morning. Psalm 100:2 (ESV) “Serve the LORD with gladness! Come into his presence with singing!”
It is a great honor and privilege to be servants of the Most, High God. The Psalmist gives plenty of reasons why we should Praise, thank and be glad in our God:
He is God – Sovereign over all things – In control
He created / made us
We are His possession
We are His special people
He graciously and abundantly provides for us
He is good by His very nature
His consistent love is eternal and will never end
He is faithful to each generation of people
It truly is a privilege to serve the Lord Jesus. We have been given a blessing that is beyond any material or monetary gift. Rejoice and walk through this day in the reality of these great kindnesses.
This Sunday August 12th at Coulee Rock we will gather together as a church body to be built up, encouraged and instructed in our faith. Sometimes, it seems so routine in our weekly schedule that we miss the privilege value of meeting together as the church. This Sunday we will worship the great God and hear from His word. We will continue in our series on Beginnings in the book of Genesis as we look at the life of the Patriarch Isaac. He was a person like us that got some things right and made mistakes. We can learn from both. Join us!
