Fall Focus: A Changed Focus

Greetings,

Our Fall Focus got off to a great start last weekend. Pastor Peter did a wonderful job at the Fall Retreat introducing our topic “Changed Into His Likeness”. We handed out the manuals the past two Sundays. I trust that you are taking a time daily to go over each day’s meditation. Remember to bring your manual with you.

Last Sunday, I started the series with a message on our need to change, embracing that change by cooperating with God’s work and looking at what change God will bring to our life. This Sunday September 30th at 10 am, we will look at how God is working to change the focus of our hearts from the world to doing His will.

Romans 12:2 (ESV) “Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.”

Join us also in obeying the Lord by remembering His grace in being the sacrifice for our sins. We will do this by taking communion together.
