Hello People of the Rock,
I hope everyone has had a wonderful week basking in the LORD's love & goodness! John Hopler, the Director of Great Commission Churches, sent out this quote from C.S. Lewis & verse from Luke. I was blessed by them & thought I'd pass them on.
"Once in our world, a stable had something in it that was bigger than our whole world." (C.S. Lewis)
"And she gave birth to her first-born son, and she wrapped Him in cloths, and laid Him in a manger, because there was no room for Him in the inn." (Luke 2:7)
Tomorrow the Sunday School classes will perform their Christmas Program during the service! You won't want to miss it. Later today they will be coming together for their final practice (& a little pizza ). Thanks to Rachel & Tracy for all their work getting all the amazing Coulee Rock Kids ready!
We'll also be continuing our series looking at Old Testament Prophecies fulfilled by Jesus & the importance/implication of them. This week we'll discuss the Suffering Servant described in Isaiah 52 & 53. There will also be a College Connection Meal after the service (busy week!)
Speaking of things you won't want to miss:
Coulee Rock's Christmas Eve Candlelight Service is at 4 pm on Christmas Eve.

Mark your calendars for our Marriage Conference February 7-8. We're teaming with our sister churches in Rochester, MN & Eau Claire, WI. This should be a GREAT time!
